Since 1731 the Amarelli family has selected the most valuable Calabrian roots to produce pure, sweet or sugarcoated liquorice held in iconic and traditional packagings.

Amarelli was established in 1731 in Calabria where, according to the Britannica Encyclopaedia, the best liquorice roots grow.
Still loyal to the traditional and artisan production, our company produces today an extensive line of pure liquorice nicely packed in a wide range of tins of 20 and 40 grams, 60 and 100gr boxes, 100gr sachets and 1kg bags.
The core range is 100% pure liquorice (no sugar, no additives, no colorants, no preservatives), but we also have some items with mint or anise flavour and some other with sugar or chocolate coatings.
The excellent raw materials and a unique recipe give an intense and harmonious taste to liquorice with an incomparable fragrance and undisputed quality. The cure and attention placed in all steps of the production, the desire to preserve the product in its natural components, makes us proud of what we do every day: a black, bright and intense liquorice greedy held in the original packs that tell our long story.
